Question : Resolve User Name Display Issue and Change Admin PWD in Windows Server 2003

In Computer Management | Local Users and Groups | Users we have NO Users displaying. Therefore cannot change passwords.

Without having Physical Access to the Server (ie RDP only (NO CD/USB access)) how can I change my Admin Password at the command prompt?

We also have some strange behaviour where "Guest" populates to the Admin Role on Reboot.

Also a User Jack$ was appearing. Do these sound like BUGS?

I have since disabled Guests in the Local Security Policies, but not rebooted yet.

You can download CygWin (http://www.cygwin.org/) for free.  It is more than just perl though - it is a full nearly-Unix environment that runs under Windows.

I use CygWin all the time particularly for perl coding.  There are a few modules on CPAN that don't work properly under CygWin (found either by compilation failure or "make test" failure).
