Question : What's the most efficent way to move a MS 2008 file server from Virtual Iron to VMWare?

I have a 2008 file server sitting in Virtual Iron.  I want to move it to VMWare.  I'm looking for the most efficent way to do this.  Right now my option is to do a full backup and then restore via tape.

I'm wondering if there is a way to use Shadow Copy in 2008 Server of maybe some third party software to do this.  I also need to do it as quickly as possible and tape is the slowest solution.

Thanks...

Yes, that would take a long time; an alternative would be to only convert the C: drive if your data is on a separate volume. Once the computer is converted, create a volume of the size you need (1TB?), then use your backup solution to restore your data to that drive/volume.
