Question : Crystal Report Security
Objective:
Hard code a SQL security user ID and Password so End Users don't need to remember.
Background:
(Using Crystal Reports v9) I write reports for myself and launched by the canned application menu. On rare occassions, I write a report for a DB that is launch from a third party Crystal Viewer.
Data Connection:
I use "OLE DB (ADO) - Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server". When run from the 3rd Party Viewer, it prompts me for a SQL User ID and Password.
Question:
Where and how can I hard code the SQL User ID and Password so the End User does not need to know/remember the SQL User ID?
