Question : Physical disk options when using a Dell S100 RAID controller
I'm looking at buying a cheap Dell T110 server with the PERC S100 software RAID controller. To start with I want to have 2 physical disks configured as RAID1 array. With this is place, will I be able to add additional physical disks in the future? I believe the motherboard has cabling for 4 disks, but all the docs I have read say if you are using RAID1 you can only have 2 physical disks. Does the controller not allow me to add another physical disk and just create a volume on it, or maybe another 2 disks and create a second RAID1 array?
I hope that makes sense.

Also, I think you may want to call loadData() after the update is performed.
ds1.loadData();
