Question : SSRS 2008 Data-Driven Subscription Errors - Email not sent

Hello,

We have a few data-driven subscriptions set up to run at off-peak hours every week, early Sunday morning.  We seem to randomly get errors and sometimes recipients never receive their reports.  The reports are rendered in either PDF or Excel, and some can be quite large... 200+ pages.

An example of a subscription that ran yesterday shows this on the subscriptions tab:
Description:
Apparel Sales Report Packet DSubscription

Trigger:
Timed Subscription

Last Run:
7/25/2010 5:00 AM

Status:
Done: 55 processed of 55 total; 40 errors.

we have perused a few logs but do not really know what to look for.  Can anyone help?

Hi,

We are planning to fix this issue for the next upcoming cumulative update of SQL Server 2008 R2. In the meantime, one workaround for this is to modify the offending reports for this bug so that the report-level ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace property is set to "false". This property can be modified via the report-level property grid in RB3.0 or through modifying RDL directly.
