Question : Can't connect to printer on Windows 7 PC

We have a domain with a small business server and 6 windows xp PCs.

Our printer is actually shared from one of the Windows XP PCs and the other XP clients connect and print to this without issue.

We have just installed a Windows 7 Pro PC on the domain and we can't connect to the printer.

The printer is a HP Laserjet Cp3505 and when we try to connect to the printer on the shared PC we get the error:

"Windows Cannot COnnect to the printer. Some driver files are missing or incorrect. Reinstall the driver or try and use the latest version"

We have changed the sharing options on the windows 7 PC without any joy.

Can anyone help?

Answer : Can't connect to printer on Windows 7 PC

Sounds like the result of copying a user object that has roaming profile features in it.  Just need to make sure the new user account has rights to it if you want them to access it.

Cheers.
