Question : DNS resolution problem
Hello
We have a problem with a computer since we have added a new server to the network.
We transferred some data on the new server, but leaving some shared directories on the old server. There is an computer on the network that can resolve the IP address (\\192.168.xxx.xxx) to access the shared folders on the old server, but if we try with the server name (\\server name), it displays only an old shared directories that no longer exists.
Our problem is with DNS, so we tried to do a "ipconfig /flushdns" but it does not work more.
Does anybody have an idea?
Thank you
Jean-Francois
