Question : proxy server
How can I tell if a windows sbs 2003 is running as a proxy server for the internet? I am a begginner on these things by the way. We have a windows sbs 2003 at this location that is running active diretory and other things but the internet runs through at another location. I need to know if it is running through that server or if it just running through a router that comes to us. We have T1's that connect us. Sorry if this info is not totally understandable.
Answer : proxy server
Is the router plugged into the server and nowhere else? If that's the case, then how else will it get bypassed?
This may sound facecious, but its not. If you can trace the cabling through, you have your answer.
