Question : Exporting Applied Group Policies To User-Readable Format

I am doing some contract work for a large organization.  I do not have, and cannot get domain admin rights on the domain.  The department in this company I am doing the work for is looking to ask the IT department for some group policy exemptions.  Long story short, I need to go on a workstation that the policies are applied to, and export the applied policies to a user readable document.  This has to include all settings for the logged in user, and the computer settings.  Also if possible, the name of the policy that applies which settings.

ie: If the admin has a policy named "10 minute screensaver" it should give us that name, and list all the settings it applies.

Thanks

PS: Most of the workstations are Windows XP/Vista and the domain is a 2003 domain

Answer : Exporting Applied Group Policies To User-Readable Format

GPMC RSoP will produce an html that will show you what policies are applied and by what GPOs.  It would literally take one of the admins less than a minute to run one for you if you have no rights to even use gpmc.

Thanks

Mike
