Question : GPO Folder redirection setting not picking up after minor change made
Gents,
A few days ago we migrated our user data from site "A" to head office. the logon scripts have been changed to point to head office which is working fine though since the change users can't see there My Documents. We have changed the folder redirection in the GPO for site "A" to point to the new server but it still doesn't connect.
- there's no folder redirection on the default domain policy
Site A
Same domain as head office
On a different subnet as head office
In the GPO "user configuration is enabled"
GPO not enforced (no folder redirection in default domain policy)
original GPO was on a Server 2003 box
Head Office
DC is Windows 2008 R2
On a different subnet as site "A"
Answer : GPO Folder redirection setting not picking up after minor change made
Do you have the old location where the data was enabled still seems like you moved the data but when you made the change in the GPO you didn't tell the GPO not to move the data so it is still trying to move the data.
