Question : VMware ESXi 4.0 - Tape drive shows up dead

We recently had a fiber channel switch fail and after putting the new one in our VMWare server states that the path to the tape drive is dead (LUN0).  I've verified that the switch has the same firmware as before, tired just about every setting combo that I can but it still says the same thing.  The tape drive is an IBM TS3100 and VMWare does see the MediaChanger as LUN1.

Any help would be appreciated.

Answer : VMware ESXi 4.0 - Tape drive shows up dead

One of the engineers hooked up another physical server to the fibre channel switch and it was able to see the drive and media changer fine.  They ran a backup job on that server and then the paths became active on the VMWare servers.  Very odd, but at least it's now working.
