Question : your client does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer

trying to open a doc library in explorer view gives me this error, i've found there's a particular windowsupdate that will resolve the issue, but wondering if there's another setting that will fix apparently what's a webdav issue.

The only thing I can thing of would be the use of a CURSOR (which I don't normally recommend) in the trigger.
