Question : Creating automated monthly labels for a chart in crystal reports

I have created a Crystal report with data and a corresponding chart. I used formulas to change the monthly data labels in the data portion of the chart, however I have tried to automate the monthly labels on the charts and have been unable to. The report contains data for a rollng twelve month period. At this point, I have to go in manually and change the month names in the chart expert. I need the monthly chart labels to match the data labels which are dependent on user entry. Any ideas? I have included a pdf copy of the chart and the report.
