Question : IP Fax and Cisco UCM 8
We will be moving to Xo Communications SIP for voice services. I would like to avoid installing a bunch of analog lines for receiving faxes. One option would be to use eFax which is much improved now that they can deliver in PDF. Are there other options out there - e.g. Fax over IP compatible with Cisco UCM and ISR gateways? A way to have fax without using FXS card? Seems to me like there would be room for a service that received the analog fax call and send on the print job to a TCP connected printer/scanner. And in similar fashion you could scan fax with this device but not have any analog lines on premise. Thanks.

You can get a vg224 or you could install a fax server but you will need cards for the server.
