Question : Clear username /password cache xp

Scenario: I access a windows share it prompts for a username and password, I enter it and realise I cannot access the files I require, I need to enter another username and password however the last username and password is remembered so each time I access the server it brings me in under previous username.

How can I clear the cache so it prompts for a new username and password, I do not want to logoff

Answer : Clear username /password cache xp

You could try "net use * /d" (without quotes) that should do it.
