Question : file system structure on the disk is corrupt on \Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy31
Hello all,
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume \Device\HarddiskVolumeShad
owCopy31.
Not sure how to correct this as this is not referencing a mountable volume. This happens when our backup software triggers a vol snap.
Other info:
Server 2008 SP2 (64 Bit)
Running on ESX 3.5 u4 (or 5)
HP DL380 G5
Qlogic Cards going iSCSI to an Equallogic box
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Regards,
Chuck

Has you see, the shadowcopy is taken from the C drive.
So run a chkdsk c: /f /r /x and it should fix your problem.
