Question : Add page numbers to pdf document
We convert scanned documents to pdf by using a converter. Some of our users us the Adobe PDF Distiller which comes with Acrobat while others use the PDFCreator utility made b SourceForge.
What we need is to add page numbers to these documents. I was hoping PDFCreator had the functionality natively but can't find it. We have Standard versions of Adobe Acrobat version 5 and 9 on site as well as the latest version of PDFCreator. Will these tools allow us to add the numbers? If not are there others, preferable free, that will?
Answer : Add page numbers to pdf document
To add page numbers in Adobe Acrobat 9 select the Document menu > Header Footer > Add command
