Question : Notepad++ Is there a way to show the cursor offset from the beginning of the file

The status bar tells me what row and column my cursor is on. Is there a way to find out how many characters the cursor is from the beginning of the file?

Sorry for the too fast answer. When the text is selected you may of course read the number of characters you asked for in the status bar without copy-paste them in another file (e.g. Sel : 123).
