Question : Using powershell to find all usages of a domain account

Hello Powershell Experts,

We have an account that has been in the domain admin group for as long as anyone can remember, but we don’t know what it is used for.  Is there a way to use powershell to find out all the usages of this account on our domain?  I’m looking through the WMI classes to see if I can find anything there, but I’m not sure that is the place to be looking.

As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Nick

Answer : Using powershell to find all usages of a domain account

No, you cannot do this. I'm pretty sure that no SQL backup can be restored to any earlier version. If they just want to see the data they could possibly install SQL 2008 R2 Express edition? The compatibility mode does not affect which versions of the SQL engine a database can be restored to.

If that is not an option you will need to look at other technique e.g. replication or use a SSIS package to transfer the data.
