Question : Can send from Windows Live but not from Outlook 2007

Hello Experts

I'm working  on a client's computer.  She cannot send from Outlook 2007.  I set up my email account (POP3) in her Outlook and it won't send either.  Then I set up my email account in Windows Live on her machine and it sends and receives without issue.  Her machine is running Vista Home Premium.   Her Outlook 2007 is part of Office 2007 Pro

I've run full spyware tests and find a few tracking cookies... nothing of any significance.  We can browse the Internet without issue.  I've checked the setting snd they all seem OK.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Answer : Can send from Windows Live but not from Outlook 2007

ok i'm finding mixed results out there.  some people say it's some autorun virus, some say it's some junk software you can find and uninstall from add/remove programs (haven't found a common name yet)

however, i did find this video on maxtor's website which looks very close to your window:
http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=200131&NewLang=en

do you have a seagate/maxtor external hard drive?

the window looks a tad bit different, but it might be a version issue... or it could still be a virus trying to look like the real thing.

running malwarebytes never hurts... www.malwarebytes.org

watch the video at the seagate/maxtor site, could it be that?
