Question : remove horizontal padding

I need to remove some of the horizontal padding between the columns in the attached MS Word document.  I did not create them and might want to change the number of columns as well from 4 to 5 in an effort to make the items take up less space vertically.  

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello rtod2,

click in one of the columns, then select Format - Columns.

In this dialog box, you can set the number of columns and the spacing between them.
