Question : Thinkpad z60m wireless adapter shows with yellow ?

Hey guys,
Ok, I have tried everything I can think of and I am at my wits end.  I have an IBM Thinkpad Z60M type 2529 EAU that has a yellow ? next to the wireless network controller in Device Manager.  I have installed IBM's toolbox, the ThinkVantage Access Connection manager.  I have downloaded and installed the Thinkpad wireless driver and even the Intel wirelss driver (thinkpad's driver name is 7yc54ww and the Intel driver name is the 6mwc20ww.exe)  I have uninstalled all network connections in hopes that Windows would find it.  it doesnt.  
What precipitated this need to install the wireless card was that the hard drive crashed and burned and I had to put a new one in and reinstall Windows from a CD.  They didnt have any restore software for this laptop from IBM.
So, any help you guys can give me would be much appreciated :-)  Hell, I will even do registry hacks if I have to :-)
