Question : How do you find a file on the network using a mac?

I'm have a mac at the office. I am connected to the work domain but i'm still not able to locate the file i'm looking for. Can someone assist me? Thanks

So do you know how to use the Finder to search?  Here's a picture for your situation: I have mounted the windows share "hp783c" and searched for (and found) a file with "LGHP" in the name.
