Question : How to remove options in Windows 2003 Server Startup
Problem: Users are gaining access to the Internet from Thin Clients through the MS Terminal Server.
I think the latest method is using the Window Security icon in the Start Menu. How do I remove the options here? (see attached doc file for a screen grab of the menu). I've been looking through the Group Policy Object Editor, but I can't find the option.
Answer : How to remove options in Windows 2003 Server Startup
If you want to stop internet access from your terminal server, why not use your firewall to block any unrequired outgoing connections? Make sure you allow out legit traffic for updates etc if required!
