Question : How to add a dns entry in windows SBS 2003
Hi Experts,
Server: Windows SBS 2k3
Router: Linux
We are creating a database system online with another company. We access this database via http. Now I put a request in to our ISP saying that I want a new adsl line just dedicated to this online (http) database.
ISP told me that I have to put a DNS entry into my windows server for this online webpage for the linux router to pick up.
Can anyone please tell me how to add a DNS entry into my windows server please.

Answer : How to add a dns entry in windows SBS 2003
This is absolutely not necessary. Push back on your ISP. You may need to add a *public* DNS record, but that will be with whomever hosts your DNS services, not your SBS server, which is your domain's DNS server and strictly private.
