Question : Windows XP + CVS on shared Drive + Configure NetBean + local repository
Subject: Setup CVS local repository on a windows shared and map-network-drive + configure it with Netbeans
My boss does not have a server and thinks it is too dificult to get one given work regulations. The solution I have come up with is below. Note: We both have Windows XP computers.
1. Create a shared folder with access permission for my boss and myself
2. Make this shared folder a 'map network drive' for both of us
3. Downoad TortoiseCVS
4. Make a folder in the shared network drive and name it 'CVSroot'
5. Make this folder a local repository (

/faq.shtml
#cvsinit
)
6. Have Netbeans check out a repository from this file
If my approach is okay I have other questions:
Q1: How do I configure the CVSroot file for two users modifying the same code?
Q2: How would I use Netbeans to check out the repository?
Answer : Windows XP + CVS on shared Drive + Configure NetBean + local repository
