Question : CRM window is blocked after running caspol.exe
Another user and I ran the following line in Visual Studio Command Prompt in an attempt to resolve an issue with running a solution from a network drive.
1:
CasPol.exe -m -ag 1.2 -url file://H:/* FullTrust
Now we get the following error when trying to launch CRM even after turning off the IE pop-up blocker:
A Microsoft Dynamics CRM window was unable to open, and may have been blocked by a pop-up blocker. Please add this Microsoft Dynamics CRM server to the list of sites your pop-up blocker allows to open new windows:immixnt4
CRM will launch if we go directly to
http://servername/loader.a
spx
instead of
http://servername
, but as soon as we try to open an opportunity or anything that would launch in a new window, the error comes up.
We were both able to launch CRM fine prior to running the caspol command.
We have also tried running

caspol -all -reset
Answer : CRM window is blocked after running caspol.exe
While we did not find a solution the other user was running windows on a VM, so he just reinstalled the VM and I was having my machine replaced for a different reason entirely, so I was reinstalling everything on a new machine.
