Question : Fixing old RSS Viewer XSLT in SharePoint 2007

I have found a code sample by Seigfried Weber (old code, published in 2004) that achieves a desirable effect for RSS feed formatting in SharePoint.

When I paste it in the XSTL section of an RSS Viewer webpart, this code gives me a nice bolded title and hides the body message of the feeds, while also providing a plus symble to expand and see more.

However, when I try to expand the plus symbol to see the body I receive the error:

Message: Object expected
Line: 67
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: (https://....)

Seigfried's site isn't around anymore, and I couldn't find any updates to this code online.  I was hoping an XSLT expert could review this and provide a fix.  Let me know if there is anything else I can provide!

Answer : Fixing old RSS Viewer XSLT in SharePoint 2007

>> How do I account for the 6hrs difference between backup and restore.

Make sure that this Backup, copy and Restore is done in your Maintenance downtime or planned downtime(Greenzone time) so that this would not impact.
For log shipping, you also need to take a transactional log backup and restore it in the DR server which should synchronize immediately if you do it in the time window mentioned earlier..

Else you need to take that 6 hrs into account as the Transactional log generated in the 6 hrs might take more time to copy and restore but eventually it would come down.

>> Will log shipping compute the different and transfer the delta logs .

Yes, it would count only the delta logs..
