Question : Split tunneling DNS issue

I have a vpn a SSTP vpn configured with split tunneling. The HTTP traffic is not be been routed over the VPN but the DNS traffic for internet traffic is still being routed over the VPN. I need to prevent this from happening as it is interfearing with the content filters.
