Question : numbers messed up in keyboard

the pc may be infected. i am in safe mode, and still not able to type right.

i nnumbers, all keys work fine except 0, for which it types '/' in the laptop

m,j,k,l,u,i,o correspond to 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 instead; p is *; all the other alphabets type right. (for example a types as a and z as z etc)..

if the pc is infected in this aspect, will it affect in safe mode, too? this is vista.

If this is a laptop you may simply have switched on NumLock
