Question : Desktop Resizing
I am running Windows XP on a Lenovo R60 Laptop. Last night I ran the first update of the various Lenovo system tools for the first time in a couple of years. When it was all over, everything seems to work fine EXCEPT that my default screen font has changed into something much more difficult to read (this applies to everything Windows related, including Desktop icon names, this message, etc.) - I can't tell you what font it is, but it's like Segoe. Also, the Desktop dimensions are distorted, with the font/iicons apparently slightly elongated, causing the top row of icons to be just off the screen (their identification title bars show, but the icons are off the screen). When I use my monitor adjustment to change the vertical location, my bottom toolbar disappears. it seems as though the dimensions of the Desktop no longer conform to the dimensions of my standard 21" monitor. It's really annoying. I've tried going into Lenovo help, and tried the various Display settings, but can't find how to correct these issues. Please help!
Thanks,
Phill
