Question : Access Database - not notifying when in use?
All,
I have a small database which is used by a few different staff in our company. At the moment, it is not notifying users when another person already has it open, meaning that if 3 people are entering data at the same time, the last user to save it effectively wipes out any updates the other 2 people have done previously.
Is there a way to setup a pop up notification or similar to warn the users that Staff Member A already has the database open, and it'll only open in read only mode?
Our excel documents seem to do this already.
thank you
