Question : Remove BES IT policy from balckberry but still keep blackberry on BES
Our Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) is setup to black users from downloading apps from Blackberry Ap world. I don't know why it's like this, it has been this way since before I started working here. Anyway a manager has asked me if I can remove his blackberry from the IT policy so he can download apps (it's his personal phone), but he would still like to be connected to BES to receive emails, sync contacts, etc... Is this possible to allow him to download apps but still keep him on BES?

Hi there,
yes that is possible. You can assign a different policy to that manager. (e.g. you create another policy where the 'blocking' isn't included and you assign that policy to the manager.)
