Question : DNS issue.. Why is there a Host A record for the private network of my cluster server

I have 2 servers clustered together with Windows 2003. One of our developers was experiencing DNS issues. When I pinged the DNS server from the LINUX box he was having troubles on, it said that it was pinging the private network between the 2 clustered servers instead of the regular IP Address. I also looked in the DNSForward lookup zone of my DNS server and noticed that there was a Host (A) record for the private network connecting the 2 cluster servers.
Is this Host (A) record supposed to be there? When I try and delet it it comes back.

Open the properties of the heartbeat NIC on all cluster nodes, go to the Advanced settings of the TCP/IP protocol, and uncheck "Register this connection in DNS" in the DNS tab.
While you're configuring the heartbeat NIC, disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the WINS tab, and unbind "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" from this NIC, too; the heartbeat requires only TCP/IP.
