Question : System Center Configuration Manager - Changing the Fallback Status Point address for Internet-based clients

I would like to change the Fallback Status Point for our Internet clients WITHOUT having to reinstall the SCCM client.

I have been able to change the Management Point with a script using the SetInternetManagementPointFQDN method. As shown here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb693488.aspx

Can a similar type of thing be done for the Fallback Status Point?

Answer : System Center Configuration Manager - Changing the Fallback Status Point address for Internet-based clients

Found the answer.

You have to change the registry key located here:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Ccm\FSP\HostName
HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Ccm\FSP\HostName (for 64-bit OSes)
