Question : AVG Removal

Hello Experts,

Just had a quick question...

Is it true that in order to remove AVG Anti-Virus, you need to to reformat the system as AVG changes the Windows Regestry that affects the network drivers?

I hope this helps, but I have uninstalled AVG several times and have never had issues with anything it has placed in the registry.
