Question : IIS7 install problem on Win7 x64...

I cannot seem to install IIS7 correctly on my ASUS G73J laptop which is running Win7 x64 Ultimate.

When I go to Control Panel and enable "Turn Windows Features on or off" and enable IIS, everything seems fine.  I can pull up the welcome page using htp://localhost with no problem.

But, I cannot find or launch the IIS msc snap-in.  When I try and launch the iis.msc using inetmgr from the search box, it is never launched or found.

I had read that Eset's NOD32 can cause problems with the install, so I disabled the antivirus before trying an install and I still have the same issues.

A search for inetmgr.exe only shows it in th C:\Windows\winsxs directory - not where I'd expect to see a runnable executable.

What the hell is going on?  I've been fighting with this shit for over an hour and cannot seem to get this simple damned thing to work.

A.
1. Try from MMC. Click ORB | in RUN, type "mmc" then Enter.
2. FILE | ADD REMOVE SNAP-IN
3. Select "Internet Information Services"
4. Click Add
5. Click OK

B. InetMgr.exe is hosted in "%windir%\system32\inetsrv\InetMgr.exe" Try executing this.

C. In Program Features make sure Web Management Tools | IIS Management Service and Console are checked and installed.
