Question : Remove exchange connection in Outlook

I just received a call to have the Exchange connection removed from Outlook and I'm a bit confused on how to do this.  The client has pop email and apperantly since they have a SBS, sometimes it pushes down the exchange connector to the WS.

Can someone let me know the proper procedure on how to remove the exchange connector.
