Question : Event ID 5000 error office11shipassert
I keep getting an Event ID 5000 error as follows:
The description for Event ID 5000 from source Microsoft Office 14 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
Office11ShipAssert
2oyl
14.0.4763.0
the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table
I am running Office14 (aka Office 2010). The only web solution I have been able to find references that this problem has been fixed in the latest version of Business Contacts Manager, however, I do not have installed and am not running Business Contacts Manager.
Answer : Event ID 5000 error office11shipassert
I guess if you aren't experiencing any issues, I would lean towards ignoring rather than attempting to resolve. I wonder if you could create a view in event viewer to filter out the error ;-)
