Question : Different Resolutions on two different monitors?

ok basically i have two monitors plugged into the same computer... but they are different resolutions..


I want one monitor to run basically one app... my music and electronic switching board..


i want the other monitor to basically be everything else.... is this possible..?

they are different sizes and different resolutions? but i would still think this would be possible?


also i know its like extended desktop but if i wanted to drag something inbetween them could i not also do that?

a lot of this will depend on the OS, the graphics card and the drivers installed.

you should be able to enable the second monitor and choose NOT to extend the desktop onto it - it you extend the desktop onto, then the status bar will extend across it. the centre of your desktop will be between both monitors and apps can start up on the monitor you don't want.
