Question : Access - Form Field Locking

Hi - I have used field 'Locked' on a Form - Properties to ensure that a field value cannot be changed - please confirm this is the most efficient and thorough way to ensure that a user cannot change the field's information.

when a control is locked. you can only view the content but can not change.
