Question : paste to rows

I have an Excel like grid that I regularly need to paste a long list of items into.  Here is an example of what I am trying to do.  Assume what you are seeing is Excel.  How can I get a list of items to appear on separate rows in Excel?

Try pasting into a single cell by right clicking it, and clicking Paste Special --> Values.
