Question : Connecting HP Officejet 6210 All-In-One to a router

Hey all,

Recently picked up a NETGEAR RangeMax 150 Wireless Router which supports printers connected via Ethernet. Unfortunately, I've come to find that the 6210 does not have an Ethernet out ... but instead has a USB type B connection.

My question is, can I use a USB type B to type A converter and then use a USB to ethernet cable to make the connection between the printer and the router? Will this work, or do I need to look into an alternative option?

Thanks in advance!

...a printer without a network adaptor will never get an IP address, and cannot be directly connected to a network...period...if you connect the printer to 1 computer by USB and then share the printer on the network, then any computer on the network can print to the printer as long as the PC that is "sharing" out the printer is on...
