Question : Access 2007 Macro - exclamation mark - won't run if not in trusted location

I have an access database which is at present in 2000 format which I need to convert to Access 2007.  It's quite an old database and has been converted several times originally from Access 2 and relies quite heavily on macros.  A lot of these macros now have yellow triangles with exclamation marks against the lines.  I understand that this means that they will only run if the database is in a trusted location.

The database is in a trusted location and at least one macro command is not working - there are no errors it just doesn't fire the event which is to run an exe.  Are there any other security settings other than setting macros to always run and adding the network to the trusted list that we could have missed?

I'm worried that there may be other macro events that don't work which may come to light later.

thanks
Regards

Answer : Access 2007 Macro - exclamation mark - won't run if not in trusted location

That's all that is done in 2007 - just place the database in a Trusted Location.

In many cases, it's best to build a new, blank db in Access 2007 and import everything into that new database, rather than Convert it. You can use the older .mdb format if you need to also maintain compatibility with older versions, but for some reason this seems to cure a lot of ills.
