Question : Meta Data Removal Tool Suggestions?

I am looking to see if anyone has any suggestions for a tool (or tools) that remove meta data en masse from a variety of different file types - for instance, PowerPoint, MS Word, Adobe, etc. Another requirement is to remove the meta data in batches - so several hundred files at a time, for instance.

For example, strip the data from: 50 MS Word files, 25 PowerPoint files and maybe 10 Adobe Acrobat files - in a simple process that could be repeated.

I work for a company that is merging with another - and we are looking to "sterilize" some of our documents prior to handover. Is what I've described commercially available and for that matter, possible?

There are quite a lot of free, trial, and retail offerings that batch process folders or drives.  Search google for something like "batch metatada removal redaction microsoft office pdf"
