Question : Garmin IQ 3600 USB Cradle

My OS is Win Exp Prof and I have a Garmin iQ3600 Palm which is no longer supported.  Suddenly the usb cradle has gone dead.  i tried switching the power to a different outlet and also connected the USB to a different port, but when the Garmin is inserted in the cradle, the Palm does not light up.  But if I were to press the sync button on the cradle, it opens the screen to do the sync.  Can anyone let me know how to trouble shoot this, OR is the cradle really dead.  If Yes, where can I get a replacement cradle.  Thanks.
