Question : Poor Performance on Sharepoint 2010 Server
I have a HP Dl360G6 With 2x Intel Xeon E5540 CPU's running at 2.5Ghz and 8.0GB of RAM. The O.S is Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise. My application develipers have start to roll out a test site to about 10 users and the performace over all on the site is poor. We ar using Kerbose authenttion or at leat trying to. Still cannot get RSS feeds to work... :-(
Anyway whe nusers hit the page it is slow to bring up the page. I also notice hat 6.85Gb of the 8GB of memory is used up. Mostly by the w3wp service. There is also a silverlight vido tutorial on one of the pages which takes a while to load up. Any suggestion on improving the performance. With the hardware I have the web front end running on this server should be flying.
