Question : Import Contacts / Calendar Items Outlook POP PST to OWA
Just completed an implementation of Exchange 2010 from Ipswitch Imail - POP/PST based system.
Only a select number of users will connect via Outlook Anywhere. The rest will use only OWA.
Need to determine a workflow to import contacts and calendar items from the Outlook clients into the OWA preferably without connecting the clients to Exchange. I know there is no built-in functionality for this but I'm hoping someone dealt with a similar situation and develop a workflow of some sort. I've read about creating / importing CSV files, etc for contacts. Does anyone have specific instructions for this? Is there a similar process available for calendar items?
I will be having juniors help get this done so the solution can't be too technical. Tedious and repetive is okay (besides manual entry of items).
Answer : Import Contacts / Calendar Items Outlook POP PST to OWA
the best way is to open an outlook profile ( configured as Exchange profile) for those users and import those contacts from the pst to the account. they will appear on OWA once done
