Question : JQuery based image (actually an element of code) rotator
My reference site is:
http://www.beezid.com/
They have an image/page element rotator near the top of the page that slides in new products and news information. I am looking for information on how to do this. I am running JQuery 1.2.6 and I believe that it has the capability to do this. I am not all too familiar with JavaScript and so far I have had no success on Google or my own attempts.
I would like to have an element of code (I am using CakePHP, the template files are .ctp) that can be changed out. This would slide in a new code block. This site looks like it is caching this all on the client and just swapping it out with a marquee style JavaScript call. I can't seem to get it to work with the full piece of code though.
Not looking for a complete drop in solution, more of a point in the right direction or some reference tutorials I can learn off of and expand.
Any help is appreciated as always.
