Question : How can I uninstall a corrupt broadcom driver?

I have a Lenovo R61i Thinkpad with a Broadcom Ethernet port. I think I got hammered by something while surfing unprotected but it could be something else. I have already scanned for malware.

The driver won't uninstall using Device Manager, nor can I get anywhere just trying to run the Lenovo recommended installer, which is supposed to uninstall the old version as well.

Help!

Answer : How can I uninstall a corrupt broadcom driver?

As above uninstall / remove in safe mode ( ensuring you have the latest network card driver to hand ) from relevant manufacturers website

Also just as some side notes to repair / re install TCP/IP and or winsock etc using command line / utils etc

Utils to help make said changes which will most likely require a reboot / restart after executing / running them
